The Mass (Blasphemy)

“For they ‘…can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly …make perfect those who draw near to worship.’ (Heb. 10: 1).

“This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts and I will write them on their minds. Then he adds: “Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more.” And when these have been forgiven, there is no longer any offering (prosphora) for sin. (Heb. 10: 15- 18).

It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.” (Jn. 19:30).

Catholic teaching: Drinking of the Wine by the Priest only for over the last 1500 years.

Comment: The Last Supper is meant for all believers. Until the last Vatican Council only the priest could drink the wine. In some parts of the world this is still true.

1 Corinthians 11:23-27 For I received from the Lord that which I also delivered to you: that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread; and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, "Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me." In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me." For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Catholic ritual: The Communion wafer is a circular disc.

Bible/History: The bread eaten at the Last Supper was the normal unleavened bread used during Passover. In the early church the Last Supper was held at a normal meal held on Sunday afternoon with normal bread. The Communion disc is circular like the Egyptian round bread that symbolized the sun and was absorbed into the Catholic church after the time of the Emperor Constantine.

Comment: An e-mail was sent to me stating "who cares what type of communion host we use." The only objection I have to the circular host is that it was an object included in pagan worship that was absorbed into Catholic ritual. . If you use other types of bread or grape use that is your option. I just feel that God would have an objection to including a pagan object as representing the body of his Son.

"As incredulous as this sounds, Catholicism teaches that the resurrected and glorified Jesus Christ returns daily to Catholic alters to be worshipped as a sin offering in the form of a wafer.  Its priests are said to have the power to reach up into the heavens and bring Christ down from His throne to be offered again as the Victim for the sins of man.  According to Father John O'Brien, in his popular book, The Faith of Millions, "the priest speaks, and Christ, the eternal and omnipotent God, bows his head in humble obedience to the priest's command."  This is not only a fatal lie but the most wretched form of blasphemy.  The idolatrous worship of a wafer as the true Christ is no different than the idolatrous worship of a golden calf as the true God who delivered the Israelites out of Egypt (Exodus 32:4).  Both are hated by God and are punishable by death.  The Eucharist is irrefutably and undeniably a false Christ because Scripture declares Jesus will remain in Heaven until He appears "a second time, not to bear sin" (Heb. 9:28)." "One of the most unbelievable, yet fiercely held, traditions of the Roman Catholic Church is its dogma of transubstantiation. First pronounced at the Fourth Lateran Council in l2l5 AD, it declares the entire substance of bread and wine is transformed into the actual body and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ Each Catholic priest is said to have the Spirit's power to call Jesus down from heaven through this miracle of transubstantiation.  Thus Jesus becomes physically present on Catholic altars so that priests can offer Him again to the Father for the sins of the living and the dead. After the offering, God is eaten by Catholics when they ingest the Eucharist.  Without question, the Roman Catholic Church regards Christ's real presence in the Eucharist a dogma of utmost importance. According to paragraph1324 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC), the Eucharist is "the source and summit of the Christian life." It teaches us: "the body and blood, together with the soul and divinity, of our Lord Jesus Christ and, therefore, the whole Christ is truly, really, and substantially contained" in the Eucharist (CCC, 1374). This is a non-negotiable dogma because the Council of Trent placed a curse or anathema on anyone who does not believe it (Canon 1).  Furthermore, Catholics must consume the Eucharist because it is a necessary requirement for their salvation (CCC, 1359).  If Catholic priests can indeed change bread and wine into the body and blood of the infinite Christ, and if indeed consuming His body and blood is necessary for salvation, then the whole world must become Roman Catholic to be saved from the wrath of God..." Eucharist worship (Idolatry)

Famous last words:  "It is finished" (Jn 19:13).

Receive Christ while you still can (2 Cor 6:2).

"You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you (Jn 15:2-3)."

Not once upon a time. Once for all time. ~ Adrian Rogers

"What blaspheme to say that there is another sacrifice! Jesus suffered once for sin--the just for the unjust." ~ David Jeremiah

Not of works: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” (that is, to bring Christ down from above emphasis added)." Ro 10:6, NKJV.

"Satan has created a counterfeit Christ who is unable to save Catholics completely and forever.  This counterfeit Christ needs another gospel to instruct Catholics what they must do to be saved.  Catholics must ask this question.  Which is worse--to be condemned by a false apostate religion or by a Holy and Righteous God?"
