Teaching is a hard job. We can’t do it by ourselves. When the heaviness of discouragement begins to overtake us, it’s always good to review the words God has given us, for both guidance and encouragement in our labors.
Galatians 6:9 “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.”
Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Philippians 3:13–14 “Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”
1 Corinthians 3:6 “I planted, Apollos watered, but God gave the increase.”
1 Corinthians 4:2 “Moreover it is required in stewards that one be found faithful.”
Psalm 37:23–24 “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.”
Psalm 61:2 “From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”
1 Corinthians 15:58 “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”
Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
2 Corinthians 9:8 “God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”
