Is American culture dissipating?

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "Poor parenting produces even poorer parents; I shudder to think what the youth will look like two or three generations from now."

I think there is hope with this new generation.  What could be worse than the godless 60's?  (Jer 9:14; 1Pe 1:18, Eze 20:18; Am 2:4).

I see a lot of young Christians ready to take on the world.  Thankfully, the pendulum does swing.  Do you think we are too far gone?

"spiritual warriors growing in the youth..."

I'm glad you see this too.

"I'm not saying there is no hope, but rather that as it has been foretold, things are going to get worse before they get better."

That's true.  Maybe Christians will shine even more in the growing darkness (James 1:12).

Response to comment [from an agnostic]:  "[T]ake your darkness...."

"If you were not strangers of the world, the hounds would not bark at you." (McGee).

But I am concerned with the violence in this country, which is the downfall of nations (Isa 59:6).  Movies, for example, are sadistic now.  I'm sure dippy above here is not concerned , but for the rest of us--disturbing.

"Who is McGee?"

The one who said that (J. Vernon McGee).

"[W]hich hounds of darkness don't bark at me[?]"

You are the hound (sort of a mutt).
