Baker Faces Jail Time for Refusing to Bake Cake for Sodomite Wedding
[Baker Faces Jail Time
for Refusing to Bake Cake for Homosexual
Wedding The Christian Institute] "A baker in
Colorado is facing a possible jail sentence
because he declined to make a cake for a gay
wedding.
At the time of the incident last year,
discrimination on the basis of sexual
orientation was a criminal offense in the
state.
The lawyer for Christian baker Jack Phillips
says, “The complainants can sue him civilly
in the regular courts system or he can
potentially be prosecuted by the district
attorney for up to 12 months in jail.”
Phillips, one of the owners of Masterpiece
Cakeshop, says providing a cake for Dave
Mullins and Charlie Craig went against his
Christian beliefs about marriage..." Full

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Any business should be able to turn away anyone they choose - that is free enterprise, which has its basis in America for certain, it wont be long before the gays insist on Christian pastors marrying them or resigning their positions."

Response to comment [from a Satanist]: "The golden rule."
How ya doin' with that Golden Rule, Satanist? Ro 1:21, 2:20
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would
that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and
the prophets "[Matt.
7:12].
"All right, when you meet somebody new, how are you going to treat him? You
don’t know—you are not to judge—but if he is a dog or a swine, you had
better know. You have to beware of phonies today. So what do you do? Make it
a matter of prayer. “Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men
should do to you, do ye even so to them.” This is the principle on which you
should operate. “Therefore” is the most important word in the Golden Rule.
It relates the Golden Rule to that which precedes it. That is, it postulates
it on prayer. It all comes together in one package. Don’t lift out the
Golden Rule and say that you live by it. Understand what the Lord is talking
about. Only as we “ask, seek, and knock” are we able to live in the light of
the Golden Rule." McGee, J. V. (1991). Thru the Bible commentary: The

"Let no one despise you." [Titus 2:15]

Let no man despise thee [Titus

"Paul says to Titus, “You are a young man.
Don’t let them despise you because of the
life you live.” Titus should be able to
teach all these things with authority.
This has been a wonderful epistle. Every
young preacher ought to study carefully the
Book of Titus." McGee, J. V. (1991). Thru

"...[Y]ou guys are going to these lengths to pervert something as simple as the golden rule just boggles the mind."
"It's like the
preacher who went visiting one day and
knocked on the door of his parishioner's
home wanting to give them some spiritual
council. He banged and banged. He could see
the television running and the lights were
on--bang, bang, bang--and no one came so he
wrote out: Behold, I stood at the door
and knocked. If any man had heard my voiced
and opened I would have come in and supped
with him and stuck it in the door knob.
Sunday, a lady came by and handed him a
note. It said
Genesis 3:10,
I was naked and hid myself...There
are bizarre uses of scripture."
~ John MacArthur, paraphrased.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "The baker wanted to refuse to treat them as he would have treated any other customer so they would know of his judgment, and his condemnation. He was going out of his way as a businessman to insult them, because they do not believe as he believes. And in so doing he became the opposite of what Christ teaches. He became anti-Christian."

Response to comment [from a Christian]: [Ongoing dialogue with the Satanist]
Ask the Satanist if a
kosher deli owner should be forced to
prepare his food differently than is his
custom?
"...Antiochus Epiphanes thought it would be
great to break the backs of Jewish religion
so he slaughtered a pig on the altar in the
temple and stuffed pork down the throats of
the priests. That wasn't the end of it. The
Jewish athletes wanted so much to identify
with the Greeks that they began to avoid
circumcision and they became uncircumcised.
They rejected their Abrahamic
identification. And nakedness for a second
time in Israel's history became a serious
sin. The first time was when they got
involved in the Canaanite fertility rituals.
Further it might be interesting for you to
know that athletics in those days were
constituting a religious act of worship for
Zeus and Apollo so they were involved in
pagan idolatry.
Finally in 186 B.C. Antiochus Epiphanes went
all the way, plundered and desecrated the
temple, set the city on fire, tore down the
houses, took women and children captive and
stole all the cattle. And he set up the
worship of Zeus right in the altar of the
temple of God." Full text:

Response to comment [from a Christian]: [Should a kosher deli owner should be forced to prepare his food differently than is his custom?] "More to the point..."
It's a yes or no question.
"...[S]hould a kosher deli be expected to sell kosher food to a Muslim, should a Muslim try to purchase some? Answer: yes."
When did the baker
ever refuse to sell baked items to
Sodomites? Answer: never.
Customers in his community said that he was
gracious and kind to everyone--Sodomite or
otherwise.
What he will not do is use his
God-given talent to support an ungodly
ceremony.

"Except for the time that provoked the court
case. Nearly never, then."
The people suing him admitted that he had
served them in the past and the baker had
been gracious to them. The dispute is over a
special ceremony.
