Black Holes on TOL?
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "[A]nd when that happens, what oh what will you silly old busybodies find to complain about next?"
That one is passive aggressive.
Response to comment [from other]: "...I do believe that we need to pray for Koban's troubled soul."
Don't bother. Pr 15:29
"Oh but I must bother..."
Knock yourself out (Re 22:11).
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I'd be honored if you would pray for me serpentdove."
I did when you started the thread and then you asked if Zoo was worth praying for? I would keep your prayer list selective.
Response to comment [from other]: [Rusha believes that Koban and Resurrected are the same person] "You will not succeed in alienating me, Koban..."
"I'm not gonna be ignored..." ~ Alex Forrest, Fatal Attraction
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "...[H]is personality has often been up and down, but I see a side of him lately that I haven't seen before. I worry about him."
Are TOLers going off
the deep end?
He's thinking about things.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Because nothing quite screams Christian concern like a good Pac Man illustration..."
One must organize. Ps 24:4
"I think it's darnn near charming, you're thinking that thinking about things drives people off the deep end..."
No. Resurrected has
perceived some changes in attitudes around here. He reaches out--asks
for some support by way of prayer.
I wondered if he thought people were loosing it.
ZooAnimal seems engaged enough around here.
Response to comment [from a Christian]:
...Sod's the black hole.
You're more like a warm, humorous red sun.
SD is a gas giant.
Eeset is more of a quark..."
"Now this is what I call innovative!"
joH'a' ja'ta' Daq jIH, “ jaH again, muSHa' a be' loved Sum another, je an be' voqHa'moH, 'ach as joH'a' muSHa'taH the puqpu' vo' Israel, 'a chaH tlhe' Daq latlh Qunpu', je muSHa' cakes vo' raisins.” Hos 3:1
Response to comment [from a Christian]: ""Listen stupordove...[D]on't you have a conspiracy to investigate?"
I don't believe conspiracy theories in general.
"...[W]hen SD says she has a deep throat source for information..."
Proof please.
[ Belief in conspiracy theories ] "Only the conspiracy theories the extreme right wingers concoct."

Thoughts on
AIDS:
“The government lied about inventing the HIV virus as a means of
genocide against people of color.” ~ Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "
[Provide proof that I believe in conspiracy theories.] "Man, I thought I was on a roll until you brought out the big guns there...the big, repetitive, empty guns..."......Is that your best evidence?
"...[Y]our complete lack of factual support for your whole sock puppet claims..."
You equate sock puppet accounts to right wing, so-called conspiracies? Eccl 10:2, Jn 10:10
[Is that your best evidence that I believe in conspiracy theories?] "Your signature line, unsupported by more than your suspicions? Yep."
Do you think
there is a high correlation between those who believe that sock
puppet accounts are possible and those who believe in conspiracy
theories?
[You equate sock puppet accounts to right wing, so-called conspiracies? Eccl 10:2, Jn 10:10] "Show anyone where I said that. I'll wait while you can't."
That was a question; hence the question mark.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I don't really understand "sock puppets". Are they an attempt at alter-ego's?"
No. This is when a member signs up another account here and posts under two different names.
"I mean what is the rationale? It could be kind of fun?"
It only becomes a problem to my mind when you post once as an atheist and then again as a "Christian". Eph 4:14
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "In my opinion sock puppets are a dishonesty even when a disclosure is made."
What if someone was in the mood for a name change.
"Simple solution. PM Knight and request the name change."
Good idea.
"PB was one who went from wondering to the Body before life took him from us..."
PB is dead?
[No answer]
Mostly dead? ~ Miracle Max
Response to comment [from a Christian]: [Sock puppet accounts] "Better to go from atheist to Christian..."
That's what we're here for (2 Co 5:11, Ac 20:20).
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I think if you're prone to see things with little to no evidence that you're certainly a fertile field for the conspiracy seed planting."
Like Rusha?
Response to comment [from other]: "Not everyone can be as wonderful as I am."
This is a test to see
if TH is consistent.
This is only a test.
"I didn't even realize my name change was an issue."
I've changed mine, too. Pas de problème.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Why did you choose "serpentdove"?"
I started out with my
last name; but unfortunately, I'm Dutch.
It came to mind while/whilst debating
atheists at other sites online. It was the
only game plan that I'd heard of (Mt
10:16) for
engaging the God haters.
I remained on TOL because they were the only
ones who didn't ban me--
mostly.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I often see the "dove". Yet, I keep one eye peeled for the "serpent"!"
It's all about you. Hos 3:1
"I hope you are not likening me to an adulterous woman?"
It's not mannerly to
tolerate false doctrine, raisy cakes (Hos
3:1.
Ps 26:5).
"Hos
3:1. The
Lord told Hosea to demonstrate his love to
his adulterous wife once more. This gracious
act would serve as an object lesson of God’s
great love (’ahăḇâh) for Israel despite her
gross unfaithfulness. Rather than responding
favorably to the Lord, she was turning to
other gods and loving (’āhaḇ) instead the
sacred raisin cakes, delicacies apparently
employed in feasts associated with Baal
worship. Perhaps they were similar to the
cakes offered to the goddess Astarte (cf.
Jer. 7:18;
44:19)."

"Ps
26:4–5.
David proved his integrity by his separation
from sinners (vv. 4–5) and his
identification with worshipers (vv. 6–8). He
in no way identified with the wicked and the
deceitful. He did not sit (vv. 4a, 5b) with
them or consult them (cf. 1:1). In fact he
hated their assemblies." Ross, A. P. (1985).
