Bringing down Calvinism with one, all-permeating, bible verse

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Malachi 3:16: Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name."

Whether our names are written in a book or not--the book, .pfd, or .doc file can be edited.

Don't be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be to all the people (
Lk 2:10).

Mal 3:16 J. Vernon McGee

Does God Elect Everyone?

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "If the book of life can be edited, then names can be added and later removed."

A name can be added. Once added it cannot be removed--and God doesn't need a Mac or a PC.

"So, how does Calvinism deal with names being blotted out from the book?"

The Calvinist doesn't have to worry about these things. He's so special. He can't do a thing to not save himself.

"The Lamb's Book of Life was written before creation, and named souls to be redeemed to inherit everlasting life are found therein."

It's a .doc file (Wordฎ) not a .dot (Wordฎ template) file. God can edit it.

God has a plan (
Mark 4:11; John 6:44 vs. 37,65.; John 6:45; John 17:4; John 18:11; John 19:28–30; Acts 3:18; Acts 17:3; Rom. 1:16, 17; Rom. 10:3–9; Rom. 16:25, 26; 1 Cor. 1:21–25; 1 Cor. 2:7–9; 2 Cor. 5:18, 19; Gal. 4:4, 5; Eph. 1:3–23; Eph. 2:4–10; Eph. 3:1–11; Eph. 6:19; Col. 1:19–23, 26, 27; 2 Thess. 2:13, 14; 1 Tim. 3:16; 2 Tim. 1:9, 10; Heb. 2:9, 10, 14–18; Heb. 6:17–20; Rev. 5:2–5; Rev. 10:7). He is calling out a people for his namesake. If you'd like to be one of those people, you repent and believe (Matt. 3:2; Matt. 18:3; Matt. 19:16–21 Luke 18:18–26. Matt. 24:13; Mark 1:4; Luke 3:8; Luke 14:25–33; John 3:3–12, 14–18; John 5:24; John 6:28, 29, 47; John 9:35; John 11:25; John 12:36; John 20:31; Acts 2:38; Acts 3:19, 23).  That's all.

[Ex 32:33]

And the Lord said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book [Exod. 32:33].

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "Since all men are sinners, and not all will be blotted out of the book of life, then something must be different about those whose names will never be blotted out. And I think we get the answer to who they are in Rev 3:5."

They are sinners who have been saved by grace like all saints (Eph 2:8-9).
