Dealing with Fornication Guilt
Response to comment [from a Christian]: [An unmarried man] "I got a troubled situation. A particular person I know has committed the sin of fornication about...Idk, 6 months ago as a worship leader. He says he didn't want to do it but felt pressured in the relationship. (They broke up a couple months after they continually did it because of his overwhelming guilt knowing he has failed God and his [future] [w]ife.) How do I tell this person to deal with this guilt, especially with this sin."
He's defiled
(Ro 2:15). No woman can trust him in
marriage because he is a man who
cannot wait. If he couldn't wait
now, it is unlikely that he will not
have sexual integrity later. Any
woman who might consider him
must be advised. Tell him that Jesus
can clean him up (1 John 1:7). He
needs to beg Jesus to forgive him.
