Does one receive all of the righteousness of Christ when he is saved?

We receive righteousness from God (Ps 24:5). We have no righteousness of our own (Isa 64:6). We are declared positionally righteous in Christ (Isa 45:24; 54:17; 2 Co 5:21).

Response to comment [from a Christian]: ""Don't you understand that Jesus is, and was the "Righteousness" that we received, -- from God!-- You are just saying something, without anything in what you are saying!--Yes Righteousness is from God,--Yes, Yes, - but Christ is that!"

"Steady. Steady." ~ Jar Jar Binks Job 17:9

"I don't know, --- you're the genius!  Oh my,  I didn’t think I was that wrong-wow!  What are the clean hands?  If one has clean hands, is he not clean all over by the same righteousness that is given as Jesus Christ?  If one is washed clean in Christ, why would you refer to just clean hands?  That means nothing in this topic! And don’t say that we are not washed clean in Jesus Christ!"

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully [Ps. 24:4].
"If the only ones who are going to ascend into the hill of the Lord are those who have “clean hands and a pure heart,” and those who have not “lifted up” their souls “unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully,” I guess I won’t be there. That leaves me out. But I am going to be there, because I am going to be there in Christ. He has undertaken to present me before the throne of grace in His present priestly office because I have trusted Him as my Savior."
McGee, J. Vernon: Thru the Bible Commentary. electronic ed. Nashville : Thomas Nelson, 1997, c1981, S. 2:714

"How does one “Ascend to the high hill of God”, without “clean hands”, and without lifting up their hearts unto God, -- as you kinda put it?"

"These sample qualities do not signify sinless perfection, but rather basic integrity of inward motive and outward manner."
MacArthur, John Jr: The MacArthur Study Bible. electronic ed. Nashville : Word Pub., 1997, c1997, S. Ps 24:4

"Why do you have to go to the Old Law for your justification for your kind of righteousness?"

We study the Old and the New Testament.

Ps 24:3-4. David then pondered who could go into the presence of such a sovereign Lord (i.e., to the tabernacle on the hill [cf. comments on “holy hill” in Ps 2:6] of the Lord and its holy place). The answer, perhaps given by priests at the sanctuary, is that one whose conduct is pure and whose worship is faithful may do so (cf. Ps. 15). Clean hands refers to right actions, and a pure heart refers to a right attitude and will. Only those who do not worship an idol can be true worshipers, and can walk by faith in integrity.

The Christian is not sinless (Ro 7:17,23; Ga 5:17).  He sins less.

"I thought you said we "study" the Old Law and the New Testament!"

Re-read.

"Are you a Christian?  If so, the Christian is given to "reading".  It’s the lost who are required to "study" the Scriptures."

What you call read, I call search and study (Ac 17:11).

"Let’s say that you are something like a Christian, just for fun.  You have the "mind" of Christ, and Christ had to study, ( I guess, according to your kind of teaching ) to show Himself approved of God.  Why would Jesus have to Study, if He’s the Author of the Scriptures to start with?"

Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith (Heb 12:2).  He does not have to examine or study (Jn 1:1).  I do to get to know him better (1 Cor 2:2).

"Well, Jesus never had to Study the Old Law or anything, like some of you require us to do."

Proof please.

God is not sick. He does not force himself on others (
Re 3:20). If you'd like to know him, you will (Mt 6:33).

"So, again, are you a Christian, who doesn’t need to study?  Studying shows that the Holy Ghost is not in, or with you to guide you into "all truth".  It’s your need for study that doesn’t allow you to "receive" anything from God, or the Holy Ghost, and that stuff is beyond finding out by studying, or reading."

Ps 34:8

"It must be "revealed" to you. - That’s why "it's call [sic], "revelation, or inspiration", not study, or reading."

Ro 10:17

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Ask one guard how the other fellow would answer if asked if the door the first fellow is guarding opens on the princess. Then do the opposite of what the other one would allegedly have you choose."

That is incorrect.
