Evil: Relative or Absolute?

Response to comment [from other]: "Is "hate" relative or absolute?"

We hate evil (Am 5:15).

"Just for the sake of clarity. Are you arguing that evil is absolute. (A simple "yes" or "no" will do.)"

Is killing wrong? Is sex wrong? One can believe in moral absolutes and situational ethics. The two are not mutually exclusive.  Situations determine the absolute (e.g. murder vs. capital punishment; fornication or rape vs. marriage).
