FALSE CHRISTS
- persons who pretend to be Christ but who actually represent all that
Christ opposes (Matt. 24:24; Mark 13:22). False Christs are similar to
Antichrist and his prophets,
described in the Epistles of John (1 John 2:18; 2 John 7). These false
Christs take their place in the long line of false prophets who have existed
since Old Testament days.
