Fathers' sins

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Am I really responsible for the sins of my father? Does my fathers sins make me a sinner?  Am I condemned because of my father sins?  What say ye , those who blame Adam for everything?  Is inherited sin guilt real?"

Do you think God knew that Adam would sin?

"Sure He did. Adam is not the downfall of sinners."

How did his sin affect the world?

"...Physical death is possible through Adam."

What else?

"...This sinful condition affect humanity..."

How?

"A way of sin in which we can choose to participate or not."

There wasn't a way of or to sin prior to The Fall?

"Sin was present here before Adam. Sin entered humanity at Adams sin.  He was not the first sinner. He was the first physical being to sin."

In what other ways did it affect the world?

"Pain at childbirth, man has to work sweat of the brow to make a living, etc. Gen 3"

Anything else?

[The First Sin by Troy Lacey ] "...What is still man’s most prevalent sin? Little has changed since the Fall. Man is still a creature consumed with pride. We read in
Romans 1:18–21 the current condition of mankind:

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Why does mankind suppress the truth? Why does he not glorify God? Why is he unthankful? Why is his imagination vain and his heart darkened? Because he does not glorify God as God. Mankind wants to glorify himself as God..." Full text:

Fall into Sin

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Sin is missing the mark."

That's right. Yet, tomlapalm seems unwilling to discuss God's holiness and our sinfulness. What did sin do to this world? Who is Jesus? Why are we worth his blood? Why did he die for us?

He claims to be a Christian. Pray tell--based on what?

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Satan was created evil and is not "fallen". In other words Satan was created to do the job that he does..."

Lucifer was created perfect. Sin was found in him.

"...[H]e was perfect until the time that iniquity was found in him and that iniquity was pride and that caused him to fall from heaven.

So, Satan is not self-existent. He was created good, he fell. And since that first rebellion against God, he has been in a constant never-ending rebellion against God..." Full text:
