First look at sketches of the Ground Zero Rabat

"First look at sketches of the Ground Zero mosque... but why does it appear to be covered in symbols similar to the Jewish Star of David?...It's the building that has divided New York and forced ahornets nest national debate on what it means to be American. Now these artist's sketches show the first glimpse both inside and out the proposed Ground Zero mosque - and you may be surprised at what is planned. The futuristic-looking building is wrapped in a honeycomb of abstract shapes - symbols that have already forced the centre's developers to issue a clarification, after observers pointed out that many of the shapes appear to resemble the Jewish symbol of the Star of David...." Response to comment [from an athiest]: "Looks cool."

That's the important thing.

Response to comment [from an atheist]:  "[T]he Muslims I've met in this this country tend to keep to themselves and not cause problems."

They are not being good Muslims, are they?

"I tell you this, I do not like the idea of a mosque at Ground Zero. I do not like the idea of a synagogue at Ground Zero. I do not like the idea of a church at Ground Zero. Or a grocery store, K-mart, etc..."

Between practicing Muslims and non-practicing Muslims? Mt 7:20. How do you know Rauf is not practicing taqiyya?

Response to comment [from other]:  [Taqiyya] "Any questions?"

How do you know the author is not practicing taqiyya?

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]:  [Taqiyya (Lie to the infidel)]  "Is it related to this [Matthew 10:16, 1 Corinthians 9:21]

Are you suggesting that God encourages people to lie? This is why antichrists (1 Jn 4:2-6) should not play Christianity. You aren't convincing.

No, the one, true God encourages us to tell the truth. "Lying is emphatically condemned in the Bible (
Ex. 20:16; Eph. 4:25). It is wrong because it is contrary to the nature of God (Titus 1:2; Heb. 6:18) and because it shows that a person is not in touch with reality (Rom. 1:25; 1 John 1:6)." Response to comment [from a "Christian"]:  "moslem bashing"

Ever make any moral demands (Heb. 8:10) from the people you defend?

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "I don't understand the issue with finding shapes within it that resemble the Star of David."

I thought that was a stretch, too.  The appearance is irrelevant.  Allowing a Rabat on our land is the problem (Jer 7:6).

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]:  "...[T]hat's exactly what mainsteam muslims would say about similar verses in the Q'ran."

Are you suggesting that Islam and Christianity are equally true?   This is why antichrists (1 Jn 4:2-6) should not play Christianity. http://vananne.com/serpentdove/Jesus%20test%20gospel%20test%20fruit%20test.htm You don't even know the basics.

No, Christianity is true and Islam is false.  If all religions of the world are equally valid than Christianity cannot be valid because it says that all other religions are false (Jn 14:6).
