Glenn Beck is Smooth
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Beck - for President, Vice President, and Speaker of the House!"
Glenn Beck is the new punching bag for the left. They hate his popularity. The atheists on Twitter comment on him frequently. Ray Comfort, too. Anytime people get close to the truth, the left attacks. They know that they cannot win by their arguments, so they seek to discredit people personally.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "No, I think my take was correct. You did not share with us the entire conversation ...[I]t was just an except to make him sound creepy...Therefore, I'm guessing here, but she undoubtedly had been defending something about the right of people on the internet to publish what they wanted ... and that it wasn't a problem for her. It was obvious that Glenn took the opposite view from her."
No one of the left would ever take anything out of context.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "If a person's personal issues get in the way of them viewing reality in an objective and logical manner, then those personal issues are relevant. You seem to be a prime example of this phenomenon."
Response to comment [from an atheist]: "There's no point in getting someone to realize this. They already know they're right."
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "There is a point. The point might be for my own knowledge. Most of us think we are right. Most of us know we have been wrong before. It is not a matter of thinking that one is right. It is a matter of one not listening to reason and logic in deciding what is right or wrong. I prefer to know what kind of person I am dealing with."
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Serpentdove - I so get the symbolism behind your TOL nick-name. ..."
I understand it to mean-- be wise and innocent (Mt 10:16). Our Lord knew we would meet many wolves. J. Vernon McGee said, "A serpent is dangerous, and a dove is in danger, so that we need to combine both qualities."
