Response to comment [from a Christian]:  [Critique of Word of Faith movement] "I know that his faith is in his own understanding, which is darkened by the familiar spirit that gives him Scripture verses opposing everything that is explained to him by Christians. He has said that he doesn't want to learn, he wants to teach, and what he teaches is demonic doctrine: he has earned his salvation himself, trampling The Blood of Christ under his feet in doing so.  On your question, I'd have to guess 50-60% of those calling themselves Christian on TOL actually have a personal relationship..."

Familiar spirit?...Earned his own salvation?...way off base.  Thank you for clarifying.  50-60% Christian you think?  I hope so.  I think those would be pretty good odds in comparison to the rest of the world.  It's all about a personal relationship.  In another thread someone said that "personal relationship" is not mentioned in the Bible.  Of course we can know the Lord personally as the saints throughout history have.  I guess it's easy to say that you cannot have a personal relationship with the Lord, when the one saying it doesn't have one:  "They had no personal experience with the LORD (Jud 2:10, GWT).

[Don't write a thread about it]
