I honestly think polygamy wouldn't be good for anyone and it
isn't God's will. (I'd never share my husband).What's
your opinion?
You wouldn't share your husband because you love him
and are jealous for him. Jealousy is a good thing. Ex 20:14

Can the fact that for example David and Solomon had many wives
suggest that polygamy is ok?
No. David repented and Solomon died and went to
hell (Ge 2:24).

In general, polygamy is not an issue in western countries...
Tell your daughter that the culture
will support
and even honor
her husband when he commits adultery before
she gets married (Ps 12:8, Jer. 16:2, Mt 24:37-39).

If it was okay, we'd all be Mormon.

... I always thought Polygamy was ok in Old Testament times
because of what King David and Solomon did having many wives.
They were influenced by Arab cultures surrounding them...
Can't blame
the Arabs for this one.
They were more
responsible before God. You were supposed to notice when they were out of the
will of God.

...[S]houldn't we look at what God has said and what He
has...done about it?
No (Eph 8:11).
...multiple men of God were married to more than one woman
simultaneously without conviction...
When the bible records a crime, it is not endorsing
said crime (Ex 20;14).
RedeemedGift
Ephesians 8:11? What crime are you speaking of?
The crime of adultery (Ex 20:14) punishable by death
(Lev. 20:10–12)--not in our culture
--you're made
President (Is 5:20).

Having more than one woman is adultery.
The Donald
has a wife who lives down the street in a hut. His First Adulteress/Adulteress
lives in the White House (Rom. 7:2, 3). This is Sodom aka America so we make it
up as we go along (Jer. 16:2).

...I could care less who has one wife and if someone has two or

We know (Heb 13:4).
This will come again

Sometimes the Lord lets us learn things the hard way, be it
about having a king, or be it about immoral lust.
"Ouch."
