Koinonia

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I had a dream last night, and in this dream the only word that came out of my mouth to every person I spoke to was ‘KOINONIA’……no other word, but ‘KOINONIA’.

Waking up this morning I knew that ‘koinonia’ is from Scriptures and a ‘Greek word’, but I could not remember what it meant in English.
Below is the meaning (‘Strong’s Hebrew/Greek Dictionary’)
κοινωνία
koinōnia
koy-nohn-ee'-ah
From G2844; partnership, that is, (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction: - (to) communicate (-ation), communion, (contri-), distribution, fellowship.

I also found this very well written piece: (I had to alter and add a bit, due to doctrinal/translation errors):

Koinonia is a Greek word that occurs 20+ times in the Bible.

Koinonia’s primary meaning is “fellowship, sharing in common, communion...”
