Mary is Source of Strength for Evangelism
[Mary is Source of Strength for Evangelism Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries] "Church leaders at a conference in Mexico City emphasized unity and Christ-centered witness, as they discussed Our Lady of Guadalupe's ongoing call to evangelize. The event began with a procession bringing an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe into the gathering. "Our Lady of Guadalupe is the mother of the Mexicans, but she is also the mother of everyone who draws near to her," Archbishop Pierre, apostolic nuncio to Mexico, said Nov. 16. Cardinal Ouellet said we can draw strength from Our Lady of Guadalupe so that we may be disciples for her sake. He said she is "the foundation of the New World. Let us keep a fixed eye on our mother; she waits for us and she is with us."

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "I beseech the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Incarnate Word and Mother of the Church, to support with her powerful intercession the catechetical work of the entire Church on every level, at this time when she is called to a new effort of evangelization. May the light of the true faith free humanity from the ignorance and slavery of sin in order to lead it to the only freedom worthy of the name (cf. John 8:32): that of life in Jesus Christ under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, here below and in the Kingdom of heaven, in the fullness of the blessed vision of God face to face (cf. 1st Corinthians 13:12; 2nd Corinthians 5:6-8)! Apostolic Constitution Fidei Depositum on the Publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. Pope John Paul II"
Beseech away.
Can Mary hear you? If she can hear
your prayers, what would that make
her? Are you a
Catholic?
"Ominscience...a theological term
that refers to God’s superior
knowledge and wisdom, His power to
know all things. God is the Lord who
knows our thoughts from afar. He is
acquainted with all our ways,
knowing our words even before they
are on our tongues (Ps. 139:1–6,
13–16). He needs to consult no one
for knowledge or understanding (Is.
40:13–14). He is the all-knowing
Lord who prophesies the events of
the future, including the death and
resurrection of His Son (Isaiah 53)
and the return of Christ at the end
of this age when death will be
finally overcome (Rom. 8:18–39; 1
Cor. 15:51–57).
Only the all-knowing and
all-powerful God can guarantee real
freedom from sin, decay, and death.
He can begin a process of change in
believers during the present age;
for "where the Spirit of the Lord
is, there is liberty" (2 Cor.
3:17)." Youngblood, R. F., Bruce, F.

Communication
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "...Typical Catholic Heresy, circumventing Jesus, Get out while you can..."
Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "You think that the departed saints cannot hear us?"
By George I think he's got it. Lk 16:26
Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "The Catholic Church does not teach that any books of the Bible are forgeries."
"Too many notes." Emperor Joseph II, Amadeus
Too many books.

Why Isn't the Apocrypha in the Bible?
[God hearing you vs Mary hearing you] "I know that I've got it, but I'm not sure that you do. "He cried out, 'Father Abraham . . .' Abraham replied (He could hear him cry out), 'My child . . .'" Luke 16:24-25
God can hear you. Mary cannot. God is the creator.
Mary is the created. God is omniscient. Mary is not.
Get your eye off of Mary
and get your eye on Jesus (Jn 14:6).
"Lk 16:24 I am tormented. Christ pictured Hades as a place where the unspeakable
torment of hell had already begun. Among the miseries featured here are
unquenchable flame (see note on Matt. 25:46); an accusing conscience fed by
undying memories of lost opportunity (v. 25); and permanent, irreversible
separation from God and everything good (v. 26)." MacArthur, J., Jr. (Ed.).

"So this is the part of the game where we ignore the points that we cannot answer and pretend that we were talking about something else? "The departed saints can hear our prayers." -- Jesus Christ (Luke 16:24,25)."
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on
me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool
my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame [Luke 16:24].
