Obama calls his critics "enemies"

"Obama calls his critics "enemies"...In a last-ditch effort to salvage the Democratic majority, President Obama is encouraging Hispanic voters to remain inspired by stalled immigration "reform" to vote against Republicans on Election Day. More importantly, President Obama is inspiring his constituents to “punish our enemies and reward our friends,” encouraging a similar kind of “thugocracy” we have seen with labor unions..." Response to comment [from an atheist]:  "Perhaps he'll start making all these "enemies" start disappearing... "

Yes, yes, kill them all--we get it.

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "Enemy is a word that gets a lot of political play. Nothing new..."

Isn't the President supposed to represent all of the people?

Response to comment [from an atheist]:  [Kill them all] "Well, that's what you advocate for Muslims and other non-believers..."

Response to comment [from other]:  "Wow, that link was certainly useful. I don't know why anyone would question the morality of the bible after reading this."

You realize God has enemies? Mt 22:44, Mt 13:39.

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "If you're nitpicking and pouncing about using the word "enemy," at least get it right."

Republicans "gotta sit in back" helps to clarify.

Full quote: "We don't mind the Republicans joining us. They can come for the ride, but they
gotta sit in back (Obama)."

Is he a leftist ideologue?

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  [Pres of all?] "He is supposed to enforce the Constitution and laws of the United States."

Of course, that would be nice, too.

Response to comment [from other]:  ["Enemies"/back of the bus]...[b]ringing something else into the "conversation."

What other president has said this?

"He didn't say "back of the bus."

Blacks are saying the comment was racially charged.

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  [Blacks get it.  It's racially charged] "...And what are they having for dinner tonight?"

I agree with these sentiments. Saying that Republicans "gotta sit in back"--it's a poor choice of words. Guess he's not the uniting president people said he'd be.

Response to comment [from other]:  "Sure, I imagine some are. That doesn't somehow change that he didn't say "back of the bus" as you said he did..."

Too bad you can't read.  His remarks are in quotations. :hammer:
