Parents angry over marijuana-shaped candy

[Parents angry over marijuana-shaped candy By Jennifer Banks] "With Halloween right around the corner, some parents are outraged by the shape and texture of new candies hitting store shelves.

The candy's maker, Kalan LP, released a lollipop gummy candy shaped as a marijuana leaf.

There is also a marijuana-shaped ring candy on the market that is packaged with drawing of a child smoking.

Some stores are also selling a product known as K2 or Spice which is synthetic marijuana that mimics the effects of marijuana. A disclaimer on the packages states that it is not for human consumption.

Company owners claim the items are marketed as novelty items, but many parents think these products are irresponsible.

What would you think if your child found Pothead Sour Gummy Candy or Pothead Lollipops in their Trick-or-Treat Bag?"
