Proud Catholic: God Used an Atheist to Save Me

[Greetings in the Name of Jesus Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries] "As we begin our 22nd year of serving our great God and Savior through the ministry of Proclaiming the Gospel, we look forward to many more opportunities to glorify Him and encourage His people to be faithful to His Great Commission. We can't help but stand in awe of what God has done through the ministry He has entrusted to us. He is indeed able to do far more than we could ever ask or think, according to His power at work within us (Eph. 3:20). Apart from the Lord Jesus we can do nothing, but through Him, we can do all things (John 15:5; Phil. 4:13). To Him be all glory throughout all generations, forever and ever!

About 5 years ago we began praying to our Sovereign Lord that He would raise up a young man with a fervent love for the Savior, an abiding passion for the truth and a heartfelt compassion for the lost. In God's perfect timing He answered our prayer with Jason Hauser, a 31-year old evangelist, who graduated from The Master's Seminary in December, and will be moving to Dallas with his wife Whitney and 7-month-old daughter Eden. Jason is a graduate of the University of Florida and served as a missionary in Iraq for one year before entering seminary. He is a former Roman Catholic of 23 years who was saved by God's amazing grace (see testimony
here), Jason's gifts, talents and expertise will now be used full time to expand the outreach of the Proclaiming the Gospel Ministry through different forms of media..."

The Starfish Story

"A young girl was walking along a beach upon which thousands of starfish had been washed up during a terrible storm. When she came to each starfish, she would pick it up, and throw it back into the ocean. People watched her with amusement.

She had been doing this for some time when a man approached her and said, “Little girl, why are you doing this? Look at this beach! You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!”

The girl seemed crushed, suddenly deflated. But after a few moments, she bent down, picked up another starfish, and hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied,

“Well, I made a difference to that one!”

The old man looked at the girl inquisitively and thought about what she had done and said. Inspired, he joined the little girl in throwing starfish back into the sea. Soon others joined, and all the starfish were saved."
