The Red Flags of False Teachings
Response to
comment [from a Christian]: "When you engage in a conversation with someone
about the Gospel, you soon see by their words if they are in the Body of Christ
or not.
There are red flags that are raised, sometimes through direct, false teachings,
and sometimes by more subtle means.
Christians desire to point people to Christ, as He and only He can bring true
happiness and salvation.
What are the red flags for you that indicate that someone does not understand
the Gospel of Jesus Christ and is wandering on a dark path toward destruction?
For me, they are as follows:
1. The person believes that their salvation depends upon their actions in this
life.
2. The person believes that their salvation can be lost once received..."
Christians can believe this. Satan messes with people.

It's
Jn 1:1. That's the big
matzo ball (Mk
8:27). All cults and 'isms stumble at
Jn 1:1.
"You can build on him (1
Cor. 10:4) or stumble on him (1
Pet. 2:8). He'll be a stepping stone (Ps
18:2) or stumbling stone (1
Cor 1:23,
Luke 20:18)." ~ Adrian
