I’ll never forget the paralyzing fear of leaning out over a sheer cliff, backwards! I was twelve. My climbing instructor was above me, secured to a tree somewhere behind him. He was calm and ready to keep the safety line taut. “Don’t worry. I’ve got you. Just let go.” Eventually I did—and a few seconds later I arrived safely about seventy feet below. How scary life would be without the safety line of God’s Word! I can never hear too often, “Don’t worry. I’ve got you.” That’s what I see this magazine doing for people, myself included.
It was easy for me to imagine how terrifying it must have been for Buddy Davis to rappel down cliffs in near-total darkness, hundreds of feet underground in Cumberland Caverns last fall. Buddy loads his caving article with insights into how the Creator brought about all this subterranean beauty after the Flood, not millions of years ago.
As usual, this issue honors the Creator in article after article. Some are light and some are heavy. If you enjoy reading about animals, our cover feature about some that “doctor” themselves will truly intrigue you. Just the introduction about a pregnant elephant will leave you in awe at the amazing things the Creator has programmed into His creatures.

Even our Kids’ Answers mini-magazine, stapled in the middle, has insights to equip and encourage believers of any age. It’s written and illustrated in a fun and very “kid friendly” way, with lots of great info that grade-schoolers can easily understand and share with their friends. But you’ll want to read it before you pass it along to them—you might learn something new about the brain yourself!
I’ve only scratched the surface here; I hope you’ll plumb the depths of this issue and find encouragement on every page. Don’t miss our feature articles about the amazing human brain. You won’t read this kind of information by Christian scientists anywhere else! Dr. David DeWitt of Liberty University and Dr. John W. Oller of the University of Louisiana have each contributed creation-based perspectives on this “most complex organization of matter in the universe” that truly never rests.
If you appreciate having this kind of magazine coming to your home every quarter, please don’t forget to renew, or even to give a gift subscription every year. Thank you for supporting the work of our authors and researchers. We can do this only with your help!
All for Him,
