Scripture That Proves The "Historical Gospel" And Justification By Faith Alone
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Cruciform
and others on the Forum have accused me of fabricating a false Gospel
that refutes their religions. The Gospel does make their religions
worthless, but that is not my fault. Is it my fault if they don't have
the truth? I am continually presenting the same Gospel that Paul
preached. They are continually rejecting the same Gospel that Paul
preached.

The Gospel is all about Jesus Christ and the work that he has done in
our name and on our behalf. It was his work that justifies us and makes
us right with God,
Romans 3:26. Christ's acceptance into heaven is our acceptance,
we have been accepted in him. The religious like Cruciform don't
want to hear this, they want God to accept them and their works, which
are worthless. God only accepts the works and the obedience of Jesus
Christ, we are accepted only in him. If you go to heaven you will go
there because of what Christ has accomplished for you and not because
you have been predestinated or that you have become holy."
People have always been saved by grace through faith.

Response to comment [from a Catholic]: "Try again..."
We are saved by grace alone (Eph 2:8-9), through
faith alone (Eph 1:13; 2Ti 1:10), in Christ alone (Isa 45:21,22; 59:16;
Ac 4:12). Roman Catholics deny this (Jude 1:11).

Works vs. Faith
Response to comment [from a Catholic]: [James 2:21-24]
Ye see then
how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only [James
2:21–24].
"Paul said that Abraham was justified by faith (see
Rom. 4:3), and Genesis
tells us that he was justified by faith (see
Gen. 15:6;
22:1–14). Was Abraham
justified when he offered his son Isaac? The question is: Did he offer his son
Isaac? And the answer is: No, he didn’t. Then what was Abraham’s work of faith?
How did works save him? His faith caused him to lift that knife to do a thing
which he did not believe God would ever ask him to do. But since God had asked
him, he was willing to do it. He believed that God would raise Isaac from the
dead. Abraham never actually offered Isaac, because God provided a substitute,
but he would have done it if God had not stopped him.
This is a choice illustration of the fact that you demonstrate your faith by
your actions. The action of this man was that he believed God." McGee, J. V.
(1991). Vol. 53: Thru the Bible commentary: The Epistles (James) (electronic
ed.) (69). Nashville: Thomas Nelson.
"Paul spoke
about the root of faith (Eph
2:8). James spoke about the fruit of faith (Jm
2:17-18)." ~ Adrian Rogers
