[Senator Jay Rockefeller Wishes FCC Would Shut
Down Fox News] "A powerful Democratic senator, pointing the finger at
cable news for a politically toxic climate in Washington, unleashed a
stunning tirade in which he expressed his desire to see the Federal
Communications Commission shut down Fox News and MSNBC.
"I'm tired of the right and the left," West Virginia Sen. Jay
Rockefeller said Wednesday during a Senate hearing on retransmission
consent. "There's a little bug inside of me which wants to get the FCC
to say to Fox and to MSNBC, 'Out. Off. End. Goodbye.'..."

It is a trait of
the Left to silence the critic. When the can't win on the battlefield of
ideas it's: "out, off, end, goodbye..."
Response to comment [from other]: "...[W]hy does the same 'little bug' inside of him want to close MSNBC too?"
He's a lefty. I don't think MethNBC (as Levine calls it) gives him much trouble.
"Exactly. So why would he want to close it, if he were only about silencing critics?"
Perhaps he threw "MSNBC" into the conversation so that his bias would be less obvious.
"This makes no sense."
Neither does: "pro-choice," "living, breathing," "fairness doctrine". If you want to know what a liberal means when he speaks, look for the opposite (Eccl 10:2).
Do you see a problem with a U.S. senator speaking
about shutting down Fox and MSNBC (as if anyone watches it)?
