Sin - Nature or Nurture

Response to comment [from a Christian]:  "We are all sinners in need of a sinless Savior..."

"There he goes again." ~ Ronald Regan

Why is Jesus sinless? Did he inherit a sin nature? If so, why? If not, why not?

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "We are sinners (verb) because we are born into sin. (state of being)..."

Can you sin? I thought you had moved beyond the rest of us: "forgive us our sins" (Mt 6:12, NLT). Aren't you up to the Lord's Prayer 2.0? Ro 7:17,23; Ga 5:17.

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "We become slaves to sin as we habitually sin..."

Why do we become slaves to sin?  Why didn't Jesus become a slave to sin?

"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent (Nu 23:19)."  Why do men after Adam have to repent?  What percentage of men after Adam needed to repent?

"The texts do not say we are born sinners..."

Did sin entered the world by Adam? Ge 3:6,7; Ro 5:12.  Are we conceived and born in sin? Ge 5:3; Job 15:14; 25:4; Ps 51:5.

Explain what is wrong with men.  How does the nature of man differ from the nature of God?  Could Jesus have sinned? Psa. 45:7 Heb. 1:9. Psa. 89:19; Isa. 11:4, 5; Isa. 32:1; Isa. 42:21; Isa. 49:7; Isa. 50:5; Isa. 53:9; Isa. 59:17; Jer. 23:5; Zech. 9:9; Mark 1:24; Luke 1:35; Luke 4:34; Luke 23:40, 41, 47; John 5:30; John 7:18; John 8:46; John 14:30; Acts 3:14; Acts 4:27, 30; Acts 13:28, 35; 2 Cor. 4:4; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 1:9; Heb. 4:15; Heb. 7:26–28; Heb. 9:14; 1 Pet. 1:19; 1 Pet. 2:22; 1 John 2:29; 1 John 3:5; Rev. 3:7.  Swanson, James ; Nave, Orville: New Nave's.
