It may be the most important piece of real estate in the world: the small nation of Israel. Along the eastern end of the Mediterranean Sea, this land was the center and heart of the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ. Think about it: the Creator of the world, Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:16), chose to limit His earthly journey to this narrow strip of land. Furthermore, God’s love for Israel is often expressed in Scripture; for example, Psalm 122:6 reminds us to pray “for the peace of Jerusalem.”
Today, of course, Israel continues to take center stage in world affairs.
Next April’s Holy Land Tour, April 16–28, accompanied by Carl Kerby and Mark Looy, will take visitors to this land of our precious Bible. But more than just learning fascinating information about biblical history, participants on the tour will be spiritually impacted as perhaps no other place on earth can.
Participants will sail on the Sea of Galilee and later dip their feet in the Jordan River as well as the Dead Sea. We'll recall the biblical events that happened there. We will walk through the Garden of Gethsemane and then the Garden Tomb—and rejoice in a risen Savior. In the neighboring country of Jordan, we will tour incredible Petra and Mount Nebo, remembering Mosaic history. Your Bible will come alive!
Also imagine the thrill of listening to Carl Kerby and Israeli Christians (friends of AiG) speak to you in Jerusalem. All in all, it will be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. These are blessings you must experience firsthand. This trip will challenge and bless you on every level—spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
A special website has been set up to tell you about the places we will visit and offer a hint of the great fellowship and joy you will experience as you travel with AiG through Israel and Jordan next April. To find out more about the itinerary and the times of teaching/fellowshipping, go to www.pilgrimtours.com/aig.htm or call 1-800-322-0788 for more details.
Reservations are limited and will be handled strictly on a first-come basis. So, get a passport handy and prepare to join us in Israel and Jordan.
