Sandcastle Worm Home

A worm that produces super glue? Researchers are studying the sandcastle worm, which fashions a home for itself out of sand and shells, using a powerful glue. This “super glue” may help scientists develop a new synthetic glue that could repair small fractures in bones or other medical applications.

Efforts to imitate this biotechnological substance will require millions of dollars and thousands of hours in the lab. Even then, success is not guaranteed.

Such a wonderfully designed worm is inspiring. What could have produced it? According to Romans 1:18–20, the answer is obvious—the Creator.
