The Sinfulness of the First Adam vs. The Sinlessness of the Last Adam
Response to comment [from other]:
"And so it is written, The first man
Adam was made a living soul; the
last Adam was made a quickening
spirit." 1 Corinthians 15:45
"Therefore as by the offence of one
judgment came upon all men to
condemnation; even so by the
righteousness of one the free gift
came upon all men unto justification
of life. " Romans 5:18
Questions:
Was it inevitable that the
first Adam would sin? If not, why
not?"
No. Adam and
Eve had no reason to sin. God gave
them everything. He asked one
stinkin' thing of them--don't eat of
this tree because I said so (Ge
2:17).
Their gospel fit in a fortune
cookie. Keller.
The good news is--we were born (Ge
3). The bad news is--we were born
(Ro 8:22).
"Was it possible that the last Adam could sin? If so, why so?"
I'll answer
quickly before that antichrist
Godrulz shows up.
Jesus could sin. He can do anything
he wants to do. He's God. Would
Jesus sin? No. He's committed to
righteousness.

"Knowing someone's character, nature, and the situation he or she is placed in determines whether you will experience trust or not."
Right. We trust Jesus because we know his character (Mal 3:16). If he all of the sudden he decides one day to be wicked, then we're all in big trouble (Lev 11:44).
Was it inevitable that the first Adam would sin?
No.
You're evading the question.
What part of "no" don't you understand?
"I stand corrected. You did say "no" in regards to the first Adam. But you said that he had no reason to sin. So, that fails to explain why he sinned."
You'll have to ask him. I'm against what he did--standing around like a dandy when his wife did what she did.
"You definitely equivocated as to whether or not it was possible for Christ to sin..."
