This One’s Going to be Special!

Smoky Mountains

Anyone who has attended one of our national conferences in the U.S. knows what it’s like to experience loads of great Bible teaching, fellowship, and yes—fun—all jammed into four action-packed days. Although our next national meeting is many months away (in July), we wanted to let you know that in a couple of days, the discount being offered for registering for our “Defending the Faith” family conference will end. If you are planning on bringing your family to beautiful Tennessee in July, you can save quite a bit of money on your registration right now.

In many ways, this year’s family conference is going to be even better than other national meetings! We are excited to tell you that Defending the Faith (July 19-22) is extra special. Why? In addition to the several hours of Bible teaching, the event is being held at an extremely popular vacation destination—in northern Tennessee, just outside the beautiful Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Plus, there’s the excitement of enjoying the many family attractions in nearby Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Families will love this conference! Read what AiG President Ken Ham has to say about this conference on his blog post today.

Dr. Voddie Baucham
Dr. Voddie Baucham is one of the finest speakers on the Bible that you will ever hear!

But most of all, don’t miss the special teaching from world-acclaimed apologetics teachers like Ken Ham, Dr. Voddie Baucham, Dr Herbert Samworth, Bill Jack, and many more exciting speakers. This year we will also hold special sessions for women, teens, and children. Also, see below for information on the worship music provided by internationally renowned pianist and singer John G. Elliott. Other music—“down-home” style—will be performed by our very own Buddy Davis.

The “early-bird” discount for registration ends Wednesday, so don’t delay.

As you look at the schedule, you’ll notice that we left chunks of time available on two of the afternoons for families to enjoy many of the area’s attractions. Not only can you visit the nearby Smoky Mountains, but many activities are available just a short drive away from the conference facility. You can find huge savings on family attractions like Dollywood (a theme park, with many rides) and The Miracle Theater.

So far, over 1,700 people have registered for this family event. Sign up by this Wednesday and take advantage of our discount offer before it expires. While registering, take a look at the hotels affiliated with this event and notice the discounts being offered conference attendees—and then book a room before the hotels are filled. Also notice that free Creation Museum tickets are included in the registration fee; the museum is about a four-and-a-half hour drive north (in northern Kentucky), and could be included in your week’s activities.

Defending the Faith promises to be four days you’ll never forget! Visit our special website today for details and register today at www.DefendingTheFaith2010.org.

John G. ElliottJohn G. Elliott returns to another AiG conference with his worshipful music. Ken Ham, AiG president, says: “John has a wonderful ministry of offering up truly worshipful music that will minister to you in a special way. I look forward to having him with us again at another one of our conferences so that he can bless a whole new AiG audience. You will be in for a real blessing at Defending the Faith.”
