A Trial in New York for Shahzad?

"Some Republicans urged the Obama administration to interrogate Shahzad without affording him Miranda rights and to classify him as an enemy combatant, which would allow authorities to detain him indefinitely. Yesterday, Sen. Christoper Bond of Missouri, senior Republican on the Senate Intelligence Committee, said, “We’ve got to be far less interested in protecting the privacy rights of these terrorists than in collecting information that may lead us to details of broader schemes to carry out attacks in the United States...”  Full text:  Shahzad Got Miranda Warning, Talked Anyway In Bomb Case: FBI

John Bolton said "If you want a trial in New York, this is the way to do it (Laura Ingraham radio program, 4 May, 2010)."

"Al-Qaeda [or Taliban] members, as hostes
humani generis, are classic unlawful combatants, as part of a stateless
organization that en masse engaged in combat unlawfully in an international
armed conflict without any legitimate state or other authority." Bialke, Joseph P. "Dutch". "Al-Qaeda & Taliban Unlawful Combatant Detainees, Unlawful Belligerency, and the International Laws of Armed Conflict." Air Force Law Review 55.(2004): 1-85. MasterFILE Elite. EBSCO. Web. 5 May 2010.

Why is that?  So that they can use our laws against us?  No, citizenship can be taken away--and it should be in the case of terrorism.  We need laws which protect our citizens.  Are you willing to die for political correctness?  Our laws need to be updated to reflect the realities of living in a time of Islamic terror.  This man found some compromised woman to marry to gain citizenship.  His marriage was about as authentic as his faith.  "Period".

"It's not a matter of national or non-national. Every person who is accused of a crime or is arrested has a right to a fair trial. This right always must be protected."

...For Americans.  This man is a terrorist.  He came to this country to harm our citizens.  He never intended to become a fit member of society.  Everything about the man was and is fraudulent.
