Video Conference Ministry—Who are We? An inexpensive alternative for presenting a life-changing apologetics seminar to small churches and groups by Bob and Jan Thompson

It is our passion to proclaim

Bob and Jan Thompson

We’ve been asked the question “What are you doing with all of your time now that you have retired?”

We can honestly say that it’s not about what we are “doing,” it’s about what God has already done.

God gave his only Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He made available to all who believe, Eternal Life! (John 3:16). And when we accepted Jesus as our personal savior, our Eternal Life began!

When we first became aware of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum here in Petersburg, Kentucky, we realized that we could be giving answers to our five children, fifteen grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren that are clearly taught in the first eleven chapters of Genesis. Those answers are sadly missed in many fine churches.

Psalm 71:17,18 has urged us on in this regard.

“O God, You have taught us from our youth and we still declare Your wondrous deeds. And even when we are old and gray, O God, do not forsake us until we declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.”

For the two of us, God has called us to represent the ministry of Answers in Genesis. We’re training Volunteer Video Conference Coordinators who offer Video Conferences to small churches and other groups, using Creation DVDs featuring Ken Ham and other AiG speakers.

Video Conference Ministry Coordinators

Dear Friend in Christ,

The Video Conference Ministry uses certified Video Conference Coordinators who are trained at Answers in Genesis (AiG). When you request a video conference, we will send a Coordinator to present a DVD featuring Ken Ham or another of our well-qualified speakers to give the same message as recorded at a live AiG seminar.

The AiG ministry provides good biblical and scientific answers to the corrosive, humanistic/evolutionary information that is saturating media, entertainment, and much of our public education curriculum.

Also available at our video conference are AiG resources—DVDs, books, etc.—that our coordinators will offer for sale. The sale of these resources equip attendees to continue to serve the Christian community through this vital ministry. They do not profit the coordinator in any way.

The video conference is offered at no cost to you. The coordinators are volunteers who give their personal time to this ministry. A love offering designated for Answers in Genesis is received. Please email or phone for additional information to schedule an Answers in Genesis Video Conference at your church.

Founder and President of Answers In Genesis and Creation Museum

Why Answers in Genesis?

Through the efforts of Answers in Genesis tens of thousands of people are learning how the Bible teaches true History, Geology, Anthropology, Biology, Astronomy etc. and how we can understand the Bible as real, not just a collection of stories. If we can’t trust one part of the Bible, then how can we trust any other part of the Bible including who is Jesus Christ? Answers in Genesis stands on the truth of God’s Word and offers resources to teach Christians how to defend their faith and non-Christians about God’s love and plan for their salvation.

Video Conference Ministry

The purpose of the Answers in Genesis video ministry is to offer a cost effective alternative to hosting a live speaker event. The Video Conference Coordinator (VCC) follows a prescheduled video presentation and manages the sale of books, DVDs, and Answers magazine.

How it Works

Your Video Conference Coordinator will come to your church, school, or other group and provide a video presentation. They will work with your group leadership in determining what your needs are and work out all details in presenting the program. After the presentation, resources will be available for sale to further equip attendees to defend their faith.

Video topics to choose from include Genesis, the Key to Reclaiming the Culture,Why Won’t they Listen? and others.
