What's
really behind anti-Catholicism?
Response to comment [from a Catholic]: [Cry baby book ]
The stained glass matches. 2 Cor 5:11
Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "the Roman Catholic Church is not a denomination. It is the Church that Jesus Christ started and a Church that Jesus starts does not apostatize.
Your claim is
false (Rev. 3:14–22).
"...[L]et’s examine the Roman Catholic claim that it is the “first church.”
Nowhere in the New Testament will you find the “one true church” doing any of
the following: praying to Mary, praying to the saints, venerating Mary,
submitting to a pope, having a select priesthood, baptizing an infant, observing
the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as sacraments, or passing on
apostolic authority to successors of the apostles. All of these are core
elements of the Roman Catholic faith. If most of the core elements of the Roman
Catholic Church were not practiced by the New Testament Church (the first church
and one true church), how then can the Roman Catholic Church be the first
church?" Full text:

Are you a Roman Catholic?
"...[I] never knew scripture until I knew the Church that decided (4th century) what was scripture and what is not (NT) you non Catholics have many presumptions..."
If you are so
proud of your church (Pr 21:4, Matt. 15:9) why don't you identify with it here
at TOL? Did you see the
Roman Catholic option?

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "...[M]ost anti-Catholic of all people are the ones who are the meanest, most crass, most "uncivilized"..."
If Christians are so mean crass and uncivilized why do you pretend to be one of them? Ga 5:9.
Response to comment [from a Catholic]: "...Christ's historic church..."

Need a tissue for your issue? Argue your case without fallacious arguments. Jesus came to divide (Lk 12:51). No one feels sorry for you and your wicked, false religion. Your tradition is not the word of God (Matt. 15:9). The word of God is full and sufficient (Lu 16:29,31), and an unerring guide (Pr 6:23; 2 Pe 1:19) able to make men wise unto salvation through faith in Christ Jesus (2 Ti 3:15).
