Demons (evil spirits) are: evil
(Luke 10:17, 18), powerful (Luke
8:29), numerous (Mark 5:8, 9),
unclean (Matt. 10:1), under Satan
(Matt. 12:24–30).
Demons have the ability to:
recognize Christ (Mark 1:23, 24),
possess human beings (Matt. 8:28,
29), overcome men (Acts 19:13–16),
know their destiny (Matt. 8:29–33),
receive sacrifice (1 Cor. 10:20),
instigate deceit (1 Tim. 4:1).
