Now if we can’t keep the Ten
Commandments, how are we to keep any higher commandments of Christian conduct?
Man cannot do it himself. This can be attained only by the power of the Holy
Spirit who dwells within the believer (see v. 8).

commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.” Paul has some commandments for
believers. We are not lawless. We should be disciplined, and we should be in
obedience to Christ. It should be a love relationship—we should be motivated by
love—the Lord Jesus said, “If ye love me, keep my commandments” (John 14:15)."

law is for the lawless (1 Ti 1:9). The punishment for (Ex 20:14) adultery
(Lev 20:10-12) and homosexuality (Lev 20:13) is death. ACW is a okay with an
adulterer or homo going free. God is not: You profane my name by causing people
to die who should not die (e.g. abortion) and allowing people to live who should
not live (e.g. adulterers/homos, Eze 13:19).
