Why are there so many angry people on TOL?
Response to
comment [from a Christian]: "This sort of anger?
Then Saul, who also is called Paul, filled with the Holy Spirit, looked intently
at him 10 and said, “O full of all deceit and all fraud, you son of the devil,
you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease perverting the straight ways
of the Lord?
Paul (God speaking through Paul) called him a liar, a bastard, fraudulent, and
evil."
How about this
sort of anger:
Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to
them and spoke roughly to them (Ge 42:7)...
...And he turned himself away from them and wept. Then he returned to them
again, and talked with them (Ge 42:24).

"Say something brilliant."
"Thanks for the corrections. I do appreciate your input..."
Don't use
ellipses when a period will do.
Don't over use the word do to emphasis a point:
I appreciate your input.
I do appreciate your input.
Don't hinder the gospel (1 Co 9:12).
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "...[A]ll that matters is what one 'guy' thinks, His name is Jesus. This rep system is about as worthy as the world's system of reputation. That is why I don't pay attention to it."
Neither do I.
A few housekeeping items:
I've never read a "rep" remark.
Response to comment [from a Christian]: [Ignore rep] "That's a good one. I will do that too. Thanks."
They may have glowing things to say but I doubt it. Isa 53:1, Ex 23:2, Mt 7:14
Response to comment [from a Catholic]: "Bybee is right. Nobody has God in a box."
Nobody has God in a wafer either.
