Your Triune God

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "Christ had to be a created man..."

Jesus is the uncreated Creator (John 1:3, 10; 1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:16, 17; Heb. 1:2, 10; Rev. 3:14). You disrespect him (Rom. 1:25).

The doctrine of the trinity is proved from scripture (Mt 3:16,17; 28:19; Ro 8:9; 1 Co 12:3-6; 2 Co 13:14; Eph 4:4-6; 1 Pe 1:2; Jude 1:20,21; Re 1:4,5). Divine titles applied to all the three persons in the trinity (Ex 20:2; Jn 20:28; Ac 5:3,4). Torrey, R.A.

"The doctrine of the trinity is proved from scripture"

You removed the scripture from my quote (Eph 4:14).

"The word trinity doesn't appear in the scriptures."

Neither does the word: bacteria (Nu 19:14-19), atom bomb (2 Pe 3:10), or Wikileak (Lu 12:2-3).

Each person in the trinity is described as: eternal (
Ro 16:26; Re 22:13; Heb 9:14), holy (Re 4:8; 15:4; Ac 3:14; 1Jo 2:20), true (Jn 7:28; Re 3:7), omnipresent (Jer 23:24; Eph 1:23; Ps 139:7), omnipotent (Ge 17:1; Re 1:8; Ro 15:19; Jer 32:17; Heb 1:3; Lk 1:35), omniscient (Ac 15:18; Jn 21:17; 1 Co 2:10,11), creator (Ge 1:1; Col 1:16; Job 33:4; Ps 148:5; Jn 1:3; Job 26:13), sanctifier (Jude 1:1; Heb 2:11; 1 Pe 1:2), author of all spiritual operations (Heb 13:21; Col 1:29; 1 Co 12:11), source of eternal life (Ro 6:23; Jn 10:28; Ga 6:8), teacher (Isa 54:13; Lk 21:15; Jn 14:26; Isa 48:17; Ga 1:12; 1 Jn 2:20), raising Christ from the dead (1 Co 6:14; Jn 2:19; 1 Pe 3:18), inspiring the prophets (Heb 1:1; 2 Co 13:3; Mk 13:11), supplying ministers to the Church (Jer 3:15; Eph 4:11; Ac 20:28; Jer 26:5; Mt 10:5; Ac 13:2), and salvation the work of (2 Th 2:13,14; Tit 3:4-6; 1 Pe 1:2). He is the Creator (John 1:3, 10; 1 Cor. 8:6; Eph. 3:9; Col. 1:16, 17; Heb. 1:2, 10; Rev. 3:14) not the creation.

"A person with your knowledge..."

Who cares about my knowledge? What does God say in his word?

[An excerpt Co-laboring with God by Patrick Wood] "...What matters is not our intellect, but our relationship with the One reputed to make the simple wise (Ps. 197). For as we develop a conversational lifestyle with Christ, something intriguing unfolds: original ides come to mind that we wouldn't' have conceived on our own. Oftentimes, these ideas may be atypical or "ahead of their time," since the mind of Christ transcends familiarity and stretches us accordingly. As this wisdom from heaven touches earth below, we see its depth and range, and the multitude of applications it has for every aspect of life.

Take Solomon, for example. After conversing with God, the king clearly walked away a bettered man in more ways than one. His wisdom surpassed administrative applications and overflowed into all kinds of cutting-edge artistry, from his dining decor to the temple staircase that astounded the Queen of Sheba. To make sense of their otherworldly design, she couldn't help but credit Yawheh, the God who, she realized, inspired the ingenuity (
1 Kings 10:9).

Likewise, others in the Bible also received wisdom directly from the Lord for their assigned projects. Noah was given detailed instructions for designing a ship that would efficiently economize space for every animal present (
Gen. 6:14-16). Bezalel was filled with the Spirit to have understanding in "all kinds of craftsmanship" for building the tabernacle (Ex. 31:3-5). And Joseph was given wisdom to ration Egypt's grain supply during the famine (Gen. 41:39-41).

In observing these biblical figures, however, we must be careful not to relegate their type of anointing to the past. Nor should we think that their innovative insight was meant for only a select few. Because of Christ's work on the cross, the same Spirit that rested on a few can now indwell anyone who believes in Him. And today, God is no less willing to breathe upon the mind, inspire creativity, and display heaven's wisdom through [the believer]--whatever [his] calling or passion. He is searching the earth, seeking to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (
2 Chron. 16:9)."

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: [Godrulz] "To think this is all you have to offer!"

His Jesus is not sinless (Heb 4:15). His gospel is not the gospel of scripture (2 Pe 2:1, Ga 1:9).

[The Blood of the Lamb by Henry Morris, Ph.D.]

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death." (Revelation 12:11)

"This is the last reference in the Bible to the shed blood of the Lord Jesus Christ; here it is the overcoming blood, enabling believers to withstand the deceptions and accusations of Satan.

There are at least 43 references to the blood of Christ in the New Testament, all testifying to its great importance in the salvation and daily life of the believer. Judas the betrayer spoke of it as "innocent blood" (
Matthew 27:4), and Peter called it "the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot" (1 Peter 1:19). It is the cleansing blood in 1 John 1:7 and the washing blood in Revelation 1:5, stressing that it removes the guilt of our sins.
Paul calls it the purchasing blood in
Acts 20:28 and the redeeming blood twice (Ephesians 1:7; Colossians 1:14; see also 1 Peter 1:18-19; Revelation 5:9), thus declaring the shedding of His blood to be the very price of our salvation. Therefore, it is also the justifying blood (Romans 5:9) and the peacemaking blood (Colossians 1:20). Its efficacy does not end with our salvation, however, for it is also the sanctifying blood (Hebrews 13:12). There is infinite and eternal power in the blood of Christ, for it is "the blood of the everlasting covenant" (v. 20).

The first reference in the New Testament to His blood stresses this aspect. Jesus said at the last supper, "This is my blood of the new testament |same as 'covenant'|, which is shed for many for the remission of sins" (
Matthew 26:28). Let no one, therefore, ever count the "blood of the covenant . . . an unholy thing" (Hebrews 10:29), for the blood of Christ is forever innocent, infinitely precious, perfectly justifying, always cleansing, and fully sanctifying. HMM" The Blood of the Lamb
