I'm not sure either. I suppose every
generation has thought that they were the last. But, I'm with you--"Let us
keep on coming boldly to the throne of grace, so that we may obtain

2:5). We need a savior today.

I don't think we differ in our eschatology. My point is, that those things which must come to pass appear to be passing (Mt 24:6). If you were headed to a city called New Jerusalem and saw a sign "New Jerusalem 10 miles," you'd take note.

We see characteristics not signs of the end of the age. "But the end is not yet" (v. 6)."
