Archbishops Live in Lavish Mansions
[Archbishops Live in Lavish Mansions Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries] "A CNN investigation found that at least 10 of the 34 active archbishops in the United States live in buildings worth more than $1 million, according to church and government records. Among archbishops, Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York leads the pack with this 15,000-square-foot mansion on Madison Avenue, in one of the priciest corridors of Manhattan worth about $30 million. Chicago's Cardinal George's mansion has 19 chimneys and sits on 1.7 acres of prime real estate in Chicago's ritzy Gold Coast neighborhood. It's worth $14.3 million "as is," but the property could fetch far more, appraisers told CNN. See the mansions here." Pro-Gospel.org Lk 19:46
Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "If they earned it, it is their money."
Do you think they earned it?

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Near where I grew up in beautiful southern Illinois, I was once told by a Catholic friend (this was junior high/high school, early-mid 1980s) that the church had a resort -- I guess they'd call it a retreat or something -- on a bluff overlooking the river, where his alcoholic priest had been sent to dry out. I used to know the name of the place. It slips my mind now, but I recall hearing from others that it was an incredibly lovely place."
Not for the
boys (Mt 7:20).
