Lone Ranger Christians

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]:  "Most of you already know I am a lone ranger servant of Jesus.  I am a lone ranger because I want to be true to Jesus...Jesus says in the book of Revelation "come out of Babylon lest you share their guilt".  I believe Jesus is talking about the organizations."

Satan would love for Christians to be disengaged--not attend services, not participate in small groups, not have an accountability partner.

It's important to be plugged in to the community of believers.

"Re 18:4 Come out of her, my people. God will call His own to disentangle themselves from this evil system. This may also be God’s calling the elect to abandon the world system and come to faith in the Savior. In either case, the message is to abandon the system before it is destroyed (cf. 2 Cor. 6:17; 1 John 2:15). The judgment of God on that society living in sinful, arrogant self-indulgence can be avoided. Cf. Isaiah’s and Jeremiah’s message to their people to leave Babylon (Is. 48:20; Jer. 50:8; 51:6–9, 45)." MacArthur, J., Jr. (Ed.). (1997). The MacArthur Study Bible (electronic ed., p. 2017). Response to comment [from a Christian]: "All denominations, even non-denominational have false doctrines."

"True religion includes the way we live (James 1:27) but involves more than a set of rules or rituals. Without a relationship with Jesus Christ through faith, religion is insufficient for making us right with God..." Full text: True religion – What is it?
