[Pope Francis
Mourns Death of Buddhist Patriarch
Proclaiming the Gospel Ministries]
"Pope Francis sent his condolences
for the death of
Supreme Buddhist Patriarch.
The head of Buddhist monks in
Thailand died Oct. 24 at the age of
100 years. Francis conveys to all
the Buddhist Brothers and Sisters in
the Kingdom of Thailand his most
sincere condolences, assuring them
of his spiritual closeness at this
very sad time. He prayed for the
departed, while beseeching God to
grant consolation and comfort to all
those who mourn his passing. The
president of the Pontifical Council
for Interreligious Dialogue voiced
hope that the memory of the Supreme
Patriarch may "be a support for
those who are now in sorrow and an
encouragement for those who will
benefit [from] his spiritual
legacy.""
[Mike Gendron Comment] ""The pope
clearly does not know that praying
for the dead is unbiblical. That is
because, "It is appointed for man to
die once, and after that comes
judgment" (Heb. 9: 27)."
Response to comment [from other]: "Shouldn't a believer [the Pope] in the Judeo-Christian God..."
Our God is not a stone cold idol (Enyart). Ex 20:3. He's alive. Ge 1:1, 6:3; Job 26:13; Ps. 33:6; 104:30; Is. 40:13, 14

The bible describes people as righteous or wicked. You are in Christ or
you are not.
