Rick Santorum supporter Foster Friess

[Foster Friess: "In my day, women "used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives" by Lucy Madison] "Foster Friess, a prominent backer of Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum, raised eyebrows Thursday when he offered up his own idea for a possible contraceptive method: "This contraceptive thing, my gosh, it's so... inexpensive. Back in my days, they used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives."

Friess's implication is that if women hold aspirin between their legs, they won't open them..." Full text:
Foster Friess: In my day, women "used Bayer aspirin for contraceptives"

Santorum called his comment a "bad, off-color joke".
Matt. 15:19, 1 Co 5:9-11; 6:9, 18

Ah, the good ol' days. Back When Tim Mcgraw

Response to comment [from an atheist]: "So Santorum figured out that "abstinence only" is a silly policy. Good on him."

Santorum claims to believe his "church" in this matter. He has made it clear that his "Christianity" will not affect his policy.

Response to comment [from other]: "He figured out that he would alienate more women if he told what he believes to be true...."

Why?  He has made it clear that he is a "good" Catholic.  His values will be checked at the White House door.  :Shimei: God haters have nothing to worry about. :BRAVO: Like Jackie O said about here husband, "All men are a combination of bad and good." We would get :o "good" Rick before the cameras at :olinger: his church and "bad" Rick everywhere else. :BRAVO:  Everyone is happy. :freak:

All of your wildest dreams would come true with Rick Santorum.  :Plain:

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Obviously serpentdove isn't a Santorum supporter. It must be that he's one of those filthy Catholics huh?"

He's a "good" Catholic. Mt 15:9

Chris Matthews said that he would be surprised if women vote for Santorum after Friess' comment. Why? Does he believe that women will fight for the right to be used sexually?

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "Why are you even starting a thread like this?  I thought your main motivation in life is to wait until you reach the next one?  Go back to reciting Scripture and leave the world to us who want to make it a better place."

Sodomy is a state's rights issue.

“If New York doesn't want sodomy laws, if the people of New York want abortion, fine. I mean, I wouldn't agree with it, but that's their right. But I don't agree with the Supreme Court coming in.” ~ Rick Santorum
Lev. 18:22, 20:13, 1 Ki 14:24, Ro 1:24, 26, 27

"Show me another Presidential candidate that has the guts to publically say that sd."

God said it. That settles it. Lev. 18:22, 20:13, 1 Ki 14:24, Ro 1:24, 26, 27, Jer 1:5, Prov 8:36, 31:8, Ps 51, Lk 2:5.

"Have God send us the perfect candidate and I'll vote for Him..."

If he knew the gospel of Jesus Christ (Mt 15:9), he would be ashamed of it (Eph 4:14, Ro 1:16, Lk 9:26). Obama has this pencil-necked geek defending his "church's" indefensible stance on human sexuality and birth control.

Roman Catholics teach man's wisdom not God's (1 Tim. 6:3–5). The God-haters see his hypocrisy. Why don't you?

What does the Bible say about birth control? Should Christians use birth control?

"Forgive me for being impressed with a guy like this...Rick Santorum questions Obama's Christian values [Article quote] "...Rick Santorum questions Obama's Christian values...[Santorum] said that Obama's agenda is "...Not a theology based on the Bible. [It's] A different theology." link

You're easily impressed (Jer 5:31). Santorum's theology isn't based on the Bible either (Mt 15:9).

Response to comment [from other]: [Sodomy] "Santorum is pro-choice, state by state?  Just more ala-carte hypocrisy and double standard...not shocked..."

Don't they go on an on about "Cafeteria Catholics" who pick and choose what to believe? My Bible doesn't call child killing and homosexuality a state's rights issue (Lev. 18:22, 20:13, 1 Ki 14:24, Ro 1:24, 26, 27, Jer 1:5, Prov 8:36, 31:8, Ps 51, Lk 2:5). Santorum is post-Catholic. I'm sure he'd agree with the teaching of Islam soon enough to formulate your new religion (Re 13:17).

Thank you for posting a profile on Rick Santorum Pro Life Profiles.

[Pro Life Profiles: Rick Santorum, Presidential Candidate, Tier 2 - Personhood Whenever] "...Even though Rick Santorum signed the Personhood Pledge, he still just doesn't quite understand the concept. He is in favor of Personhood legislation but he also favors abortion regulations. "Child killing regulations just prune the abortion weed, and strengthen its root," says Jason Troyer of Colorado Right to Life. So like pruning your favorite bush to make it grow strong, if you want to make abortion a permanent part of society, then regulate the procedure and it will look more reasonable and humane..."
