The Internet is Real Life

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "I'm tired of people saying phrases like, "in real life," while participating on forums like this one or on various forms of social media. Folks, the truth is that this is real life. You are interacting with real people who give real time and effort from their lives to answer your questions or respond to your thoughts. Thinking about your participation in the reality of the Internet as unreal or some sort of fantasy world where others become somehow less real belittles and devalues the individuals you are in contact with. To think about it in those terms is an attempt to excuse yourself from any responsibility for your words and actions toward others.  Just a thought I had and wanted to get off my chest."

"Ouch." ~ E.T. Isa 55:11, Pr 25:22

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "Some posts are like receiving a letter from a friend. Some are like taking a class and receiving instructions from a mentor or teacher and others are sometimes aggravating, sometimes mean-spirited, sometimes delusional and sometimes specious..."

Pr 27:5, Eph 6:19

Response to comment [from a "Christian"]: "...How do I deal with the refusal of serpent to address points in an argument other than with a (usually wrong) labeling of whatever fallacy she perceives?"

Eph 4:14

[Eph 4:14] "You're right--I should have included "or a Bible verse wholly unconnected to the subject at hand."
