Earthquakes in Haiti and Chili: God's judgment, global warming, or just random geologic events?
Response to comment [from a Christian]: "...[I]f you're living on moving plates, or in areas where storms are huge, be prepared to be shaken up at times."
I hope California residents remember this when the big one comes--if the big one comes. They've been warned for years. If they wish to continue living on a fault line, fine. But when an earthquakes comes don't blame God.
God makes good things (like a good world to live in [Ge 1:31]). It's man that messes it all up. There were no earthquakes before the fall of man.
Respone to comment [from a Jehovah's Witness] "That verse does not say that those who trust in Jesus becomes the elect..."
Your Jehovah's false Witness cult is teaching in error.
"All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; [I]and[/I]
him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out (Jn 6:37)."

False Teaching about the Trinity:
Tri-Theism:
Modern Example: Mormonism - Jesus was a created being and the Spirit-brother of
Lucifer, who became a god. Mormonism teaches that there are many gods and we too
can become gods.
Modalism (also Sabellianism, Modalistic Monarchianism):
Modern Example: United Pentecostal Church - "Jesus only", there is only one God
who manifests himself in three modes. God is essentially playing different roles
and the assumption is that in the Old Testament he revealed himself as the
Father, in the New Testament God reveals himself as Jesus, and in the church-age
as Holy Spirit.
Arianism (Dynamic Monarchianism):
Modern Example: Jehovah's Witnesses - Denying the deity of Jesus and the Holy
Spirit. Jesus was a created being adopted by God, and the Holy Spirit is simply
the power of God or a force..." Full text:

Response to comment [from a Christian]: "[T]he earth remains forever."
Man brought a curse on the earth (Ge 3:17). Earth will be dissolved by fire (2Pe 3:7,10,12) and God will make it new (Isa 65:17; 2Pe 3:13).
